Fans of Force India’s rising star Paul di Resta will be able to see him in person at January’s Autosport International show.
The driver, currently enjoying a strong debut season in the sport after finishing in the points at his first ever Grand Prix, has confirmed his appearance at the 2012 event, due to be held on January 14-15 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
Di Resta launched his F1 career after a strong showing in the German DTM touring car championship, where he drove for Mercedes and won the title in 2010.
His Autosport International appearance will include live interviews on the Autosport Stage throughout the weekend as well as greeting fans, signing autographs and appearing in the show’s Live Action Arena, set to feature stunts and demonstrations.
Di Resta will also be appearing at the F1 Racing Grid which will feature modern-day Formula One machinery.
He said: “Britain has the best motorsport fans in the world, and I’m thrilled that I’ll have the opportunity to meet some of my supporters at Autosport International.
“I used to visit the show in my early career to see my heroes on the stage, so it’s a real honour to now be among those drivers.”
