Had you been thinking that it really was time that Lewis Hamilton got a bit more publicity and recognition?
Or perhaps you reckon Jenson Button really has been under-appreciated this year, or that David Coulthard could do with a bit of glory after a career as arguably the most successful British F1 driver de nos jours.
How about saluting the courage of Katherine Legge in getting back in the car and and racing on after that horrible crash at Road America? Or suggesting a posthumous award for Colin McRae?
You might even be a member of that school of thought that says Dario Franchitti is actually the one that deserves the fuss and attention – since he walked away from the end of the 2007 racing season with a title in his back pocket – we’re pretty sure he’d be our driver of the year, if we ever got round to making a list.
Whatever your views, here’s your chance to vote for a sports personality in the Morgan Stanley Great Britons of 2007 award.
Last year’s winner in the sporting category was Zara Phillips after her success in the equestrian sport of eventing. Other past winners include runner Dame Kelly Holmes and yachtswoman Dame Ellen MacArthur.
Those in the frame for this year include boxers Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe, footballers Kelly Smith and Micah Richards and, perhaps unsurprisingly, young Lewis himself.
Whether you agree or disagree, why not get along and have your say?
