Rockingham Motor Speedway will be kicking off its 2010 season with a round of the Dunlop Great & British Motorsport Festival – and tickets are now on sale.
The event offers the best of British club racing including sportscar events the Radical UK Cup and Radical Club Cup, while the British Touring Car stars of the future battle it out wheel-to-wheel in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup.
Mini lovers, new and old, can enjoy plenty of racing from the UK’s longest-running single-make formula the MINI Se7en Championship as well as the modified 1300 MINI Miglia Championship and the MINI challenge.
To round off the meeting there will be what the organisers describe as “150mph paint-swapping action” from the 2010 Pickup Truck Championship series on the 1.5-mile banked oval – Europe’s fastest racing circuit.
Fans can save up to 20 per cent on adult admission prices by booking in advance. Tickets for the main race day on Sunday April 11 cost £12, with Saturday tickets at £8 and weekend passes at £18. Children under 15 get free admission and grandstand seats plus access to the paddock area are also free.
Race day and weekend passes can be purchased on the gate at a cost of £15 or £20. Tickets are also available for practice and qualifying sessions on Saturday April 10 priced at £10.
